The Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians Committee Board are all dedicated Dermal Clinicians. All members are volunteers to the committee and work towards strategic objectives to fulfil the mission and vision of the ASDC.

Jennifer Byrne - Chairperson

Jennifer is currently the Chair person of the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians, as well as previously held positions as the Chair in 2018-2019, 2013-2015, and in the Governance and Education portfolios 2015-2017.


Jennifer is a lecturer and the clinical coordinator for the Dermal Science and Therapy Discipline for the College of Health & Biomedicine at Victoria University (Melbourne). 

This role involves liaising with industry to develop opportunities and recognition for Dermal Clinicians working with clients in skin health, integrity and management within health care, including plastics and community health care.  


Jennifer’s teaching and research interest areas focus on the clinical and an interdisciplinary approach to Dermal Therapy. Expertise and specialisation includes clinical governance, standardising practice, Skin integrity and health, wound/scar and oedema management associated with ageing, chronic health problems and disease.  Jennifer has also been a guest presenter at various conferences and symposiums advocating for skin health and integration of dermal clinicians in to multidisciplinary client centered teams, particularly in the areas of chronic disease management.

Jennifer also undertakes consultancy work in the areas of education and benchmarking, working with TEQSA as an expert advisor since 2016 in the review and accreditation of dermal therapy and cosmetic medicine/dermatology programs.

Vera Koslova-Fu - Vice Chairperson

Vera currently works in clinical development, education and training within the private sector for medical aesthetic equipment companies.  She has a wealth of experience with a career that has spanned over 20 years as a Dermal Clinician.  In that time, Vera has had roles in development and teaching in both Vocational Education (Beauty Therapy) and Higher Education (Dermal Science and Therapy). She is also the co-director of a successful Dermal Therapy clinic in bayside Melbourne.  In these roles Vera has guided and mentored those within the industry, particularly in her areas of specialisation; including standardisation and regulation as well as best practice management utilising laser and light therapies.  This expertise has also seen Vera as a part of the ARPANSA working party and as an expert for consultation regarding insurance or legal cases relating to safe use of lasers.

Mariana Vukic - Secretary

Mariana currently holds the position of Secretary within the ASDC committee. Mariana has thoroughly enjoyed working as a Dermal Clinician across different states of Australia. Her experience working within multidisciplinary teams has made her quite interested in overall skin health, holistic approaches to treatment, and treating multiple skin conditions using current evidence-based practice. 

Mariana is happy to be a part of an ever-evolving industry, especially with the education, technology, and products available to date. Mariana believes the tools we have available to us can definitely improve an individual's quality of life- if done well. Hence, why she continually undertakes or attends personal development courses and conferences, as well as performing hands-on treatments in clinic to build on her knowledge.

Barbara Pavlidis- Treasurer

Barbara Pavlidis graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from Victoria University in 2007, and has obtained various other health and skin related qualifications.

Since graduating she focused her career on developing skills in photo therapies, chemical peels, cosmeceuticals and advanced aesthetic procedures, and had the privilege to work as a national industry trainer and business manager. In this role she has worked alongside medical dermatologists, plastic surgeons and dermal clinicians. She has also continued her commitment to Victoria University by becoming a supervisor, assisting and tutoring undergraduate degree students.

Linda Grabowski - Education

Linda has over twenty-four years of industry experience and has been a skin clinic owner for the past fourteen years. 

​She has won many industry awards in her years as a skin therapist and has undergone continual education. 

​Linda completed her four-year Bachelor’s Degree of Health Science, specialising in dermal therapies with a high distinction average and was awarded membership with the Golden Key International Honour Society which recognises the top fifteen per cent of student academics. 

The love of education has led Linda to the commencement of employment within Victoria University, lecturing and clinic supervising for dermal therapy units, whilst maintaining her clinical work.​

Linda’s passion for the industry saw her reinstate the role of student representative on the committee for the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians, but has now transitioned to an education coordinator. In this role Linda intends to keep ASDC members informed on the latest trends versus evidence-based research, provide informative webinars and workshops and advocate for members by representing the ASDC at conferences and networking events.

Claire Coulstock - Education

Claire is an academic and clinical educator with the Dermal Science and Therapy discipline at Victoria University.  Claire also works in private practice within Melbourne clinics.  Claire's speciality and passion is for multi-modal and wholistic client centered care plans, particularly combining laser and other therapies for management of dermatological conditions and scar minimisation.  Claire's other passion is for continuing education, professional development and networking opportunities.  Within the university she organises industry networking and educational events for students and employer groups to increase engagement and raise the profile and awareness of the Dermal Clinicians scope of practice.  Claire brings this expertise to the education portfolio and will be concentrating on the networking and professional development activities for the ASDC

Caylynn Jagga- Media and Marketing

During Caylynn's time with Victoria University she was honoured to receive two awards. The first was to join the Golden Key Honour Society as a member. This is given to the top 15% of university students worldwide, and secondly, to be awarded for the outstanding clinical skills award sponsored by AST. 


Caylynn has been working across various aspects within the Health industry during and now after her studies with Victoria University. Beginning with Beauty Therapy in 2014, Caylynn has since worked across Plastic Surgery, a Boutique Skin Clinic, Dermatology and Dermoscopy. She is also involved with Victoria University as a sessional employer assisting with the Bachelor of Health Science content delivery. Caylynn has a huge passion for raising awareness for Dermal Clinicians, Skin Cancer and industry education. Caylynn endeavours to uphold industry standards and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary practices.

Brooke Mojet- Media and Marketing

Brooke has experience working across different skin clinics where she believes in working within a multi-disciplinary environment and taking a holistic approach to achieving skin health. During her Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapies she was also granted into the Golden Key Honour Society as a member for being within the top 15% of academic students worldwide. Following her studies, Brooke thoroughly enjoys continuing her academic writing skills by reading peer reviewed journals and producing informative, educational pieces which she now utilises within her current workplace which involves business development and education. She believes that education is key in this ever growing industry. Brooke is also passionate about providing simplistic treatment pathways for those suffering with severe skin conditions alongside raising awareness about Dermal Clinicians, creating standards within the industry, dermoscopy, internal health and self development.

Fiona Moss - Governance

Fiona is a Dermal Clinician and Dermoscopist as well as currently in the Governance portfolio with the ASDC.

Fiona has a post graduate (professional diploma) in Dermoscopy and works as a Dermoscopist for Skin Smart Australia.  Fiona has played a large role in the mentoring of Dermal Clinicians that have been employed at Skin Smart Australia, designing education and training resources as well as tools for staff to use while on site conducting skin checks.  Fiona is passionate about education and clinical governance and works as a Clinical Educator with Victoria University and more recently with skin care company Environ.
